Baggage: A 29 year old, former Marine, sexual abuse survivor, Cubs fan. Loves Broadway and Grey’s Anatomy. Does not like things on top of the TV and tomato sauce. Has ADD, PTSD, and OCD. Lives in the middle of nowhere. At age fifteen, she had a tubo-ovarian abscess and PID. Recent surgery has shown that one ovary and tube are completely blocked by scar tissue. The other ovary and tube are open. Previous attempts to have a baby were not successful, although there have been no tries in the past five years. Works from home as an article writer. Would like to be on Broadway one day, but for now just sings in the shower.

Geo: A 37 year old salesman, race car driver, and Cubs fan. Met on a blind date after meeting online. Does not like the Cardinals. Very tall and cute.
Mom to:
Bug: An 12 year old girl who loves reading, Broadway musicals, High School Musical, Hannah Montana, and most other Disney Channel shows. Has ADHD, PTSD, ODD and RAD. Wants to be a veternarian when she grows up. Is homeschooled. Was adopted from the foster care system in November of 2005.
Foster Mom to:
Callie: A 16 year old girl who loves music, the internet, texting, putting together puzzles and cleaning. Has bipolar disorder. Wants to be a truck driver when she grows up. Is in 10th grade at a public high school. Moved in as a foster care placement in May of 2007. Current case goal is TPR.
Bubba: A four year old boy who loves trucks, boats, trucks that pull boats, racecars, bikes, Christmas lights, and being tucked in like a burrito. Has some educational delays. Wants to be a race car driver when he grows up. Is in a special education pre-K program. Moved in as a foster care placement in February of 2007. Current case goal is reunification. Biological brother to Snowbaby.
Snowbaby: A three year old girl who loves babies, bread, princesses, reading, typing on the computer, race cars, and being held. Has some developmental delays. Not sure what she wants to be when she grows up. Moved in as a foster care placement in February of 2007. Current case goal is reunification. Biological sister to Bubba.
Other People you Might Meet Here:
Eagle: Bug’s biological brother who was adopted by another family. Bug has recently initiated contact with Eagle, but we have not heard anything back from him yet.
Cammie: Adoption and licensing worker. There is a long history between Baggage and Cammie, most of it negative.
Galinda: Baggage’s left ovary, which is missing.
Elphaba: Baggage’s right ovary, which apparently functions as it should.
Brother, Sister, Baggage’s Dad and duchess2nana sometimes comment. They are um..Baggage’s brother, sister, Dad and Mom.
Former Foster Placements:
Izzy: Placed her as an adoptive placement which had to be disrupted when Izzy began to display behaviors that were unsafe for the other children already in the home. Izzy moved to another foster home where she is doing well.
Butterfly: Half-Sister to Bubba and Snowbaby. Had to be hospitalized for her self-injurous behaviors. Upon returning, she began to be abusive to adults in the home and put others as risk. She was hospitalized a second time. She is currently in a high level therapeutic foster home, but doing well. She visits with her brother and sister weekly.
Hermione: Short term placement that ended when Hermione had to be hospitalized. She is now doing quite well and is going to be adopted soon.
Ladybug: Newborn baby who was moved to another foster home after a week.
Meredith: A five year old girl who likes stuffed animals, is very particular about her clothes, likes to draw and play imaginary games. When she grows up, she wants to “work.” Is in kindergarten. Very smart, no known diagnosis. Gets in trouble at school for talking and disrupting class. Moved in as a foster care placement in April of 2008. Current case goal is reunification. Biological half sister to Elle. Moved to a new foster home in July of 2008.
Elle: A ten-month old girl who likes baby food, cheerios, saying “DADADADADA,” being carried around like superman, crawling away, especially while you are changing her diapers, and bottles. Has a very slight medical problem that requires no daily treatment. No current diagnosis. Moved in as a foster care placement in April of 2008. Current case goal is reunification. Biological half sister to Meredith. Moved to a new foster home in July of 2008.
